Conference dinner
The conference dinner will take place on Friday, 31 May at 20:00 in the Syrian restaurant AL-DAR (Konsul-Smidt-Str. 26). The cost of participation in the buffet is 33 EUR per person (excluding drinks). Please find the menu below:
Mazza
- Hummus: chickpea paste with sesame sauce and lemon juice
- Zaitun: green olive salad with freshly chopped parsley, tomatoes and pomegranate dressing
- Tabuleh: finely chopped parsley salad, tomatoes, onions and mint, served with olive oil and lemon juice
- Lebneh: cream cheese with walnuts, olive oil and mint
- Muhammara: savoury walnut and pepper purée with homemade pomegranate and olive oil
- Falafel: chickpea and vegetable fritters
- Sambusik lamb: half-moon pasties filled with minced lamb and pine nuts
Main dishes
- Braised leg of lamb on cinnamon rice with almonds served with yoghurt sauce
- Chicken breast fillet stuffed with spinach in saffron tomato sauce
- Syrian style vegetable casserole with oriental spices
- Basmati vermicelli rice or a gluten-free alternative
Dessert
- A selection of Syrian sweets
- Homemade Arabic ice cream
